I hope the Colts don't take him at 3.

Once you have the qb, you can put anyone back there, it doesnt make much difference.

Look at a team like the Vikings, best running back this generation is Adrian Peterson and even with a good defense, the best they could ever do was make it in the playoffs as a wild card.

Teams with quarterbacks need to protect the qb and rush the qb, everything else falls into place. Even if Barkley is the best back in the next 10 years, still not worth it for the Colts when they have so many other needs.

All the mocks say Chubb or Barkely. They should trade down to 7-10 range ( some teams will do that in a sec to get a qb or Barkley) and take the best OT, then sign Nelson from Carolina. All of a sudden line is fixed and use the extra couple picks they get from trading down on defense. Need an edge rusher and a non pussy middle linebacker

If browns really want him just take him at #1. Then settle for whatever qb is left at 4. Which could be any of them

There's no value in taking him 1. If the Giants are dumb enough to take him 2nd go ahead.

When the Colts get a QB, all that other stuff will actually matter. I mean a QB not made of glass.

Value means more in the later rounds. It's about getting the guy you want early. Barkley will be in New York.

Darnold is the projected #1 but I don't know why. He had good wrs in his jr year making plays for him. Juju was there. And someone else. Darnold was bad last year without them. He is probably going to be good first couple years in the league then be exposed

i really don't like the top qbs in this class, if i was the browns id take saquon at #1 and probably chubbs at 4. you have tyrod in place for a yr or two, and if he sucks, you will be picking early again with likely a better qb class available

How so? Late rounders are mostly depth. Rb's just aren't paid like other premium positions. The value is in the contract.

If you are the Browns you take Barkley number one and Fitzpatrick from Alabama at number 4....

They all get paid similar 1-10 anyway. The value is finding a gem who doesn't get paid as much. If you are saying rbs are overvalued 1-10. Then I get you.

Because they are a dime a dozen and not very durable due to the demands of their position. But there have been successful rbs taken 1-10 and not all these qbs are going to be franchise qbs. Maybe 2 out of the 4
